FAQ

How You Can Help Us

Dog Ears relies on donations from individuals, civic groups, businesses and charities to provide a hearing dog at no cost to the recipient. Since 1988, Dog Ears has placed about 75+ dogs, and usually has about five in training at any one time.

There are several ways you can help as a volunteer. You could exercise and play with the dogs during the week at the kennel. As with any dog, they enjoy being brushed, petted and talked to. You could take a dog through our six-week basic obedience course. You could take in a foster dog for home training. Contact the center to request an application to foster.
